The Farmers Market is organized by the Rotary Club of Chelsea in conjunction with the City of Kingston, and is held on the first Saturday of each month (except January) at the Sir William Fry reserve in Highett, near Southland. The stall-holders (about 50 or so) sell fresh and organic produce, and home-made goods.
Fresh fish, jams, eggs, cheeses, plants and fruits and vegetables are just some of the wonderful items you will find at the market which attracts up to 2000 during the Saturday mornings. Off street parking for hundreds of cars is free.
